Have spent over 9 hours on this one. Not long ago Bleach manga has finally ended and I thought it was a good idea to do a fanart of series that I like and a character I adore. I really like the design and personality as well as abilities of hers that were shown in the manga. Funny fact: when I only started drawing all I did was learning anatomy and redrawing screenshots from anime or redrawing other people's works. I did it to understand how the lines should look, tried different perspectives and stuff like that. But the first drawing that I did digitally and was drawn completely from my head (I used some references but the overall idea and pose were mine) was drawing of Rukia. It was bad and simple but at that time I was proud 
Moreover, I decided to do a speedpaint and though it came out as an 1 hour long video I hope some of you will find it interesting and maybe educating

With that being said I announce that I've started to work on my own manga. Now the script is done for the first couple of chapters, and I'm literally starting to sketch panels today. I hope that by the end of the month I'll be able to present the first chapter of my manga. I hope you'll like it folks.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactWell, Bleach just ended so it's a great time to make artwork of it <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/f/f…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="380" title=" (Sad)"/>. Anyway, this drawing is pretty good. First of all, the moon in the background makes me think of the first episode of Bleach and that really adds up to the piece. The snow is of course the element of her zanpakuto, again nice touch and the black butterfly was also in the first episode so again, nice attention to the details. The shading is really cool, I really like the pink color on her face, it's a little bit more original than simply adding a darker color of the original skin. The clothing is the interesting part of this piece, it really is good. It blends well with the the clothings. To be honest, the pose of the character is pretty classic, it's not a fighting scene, she's not doing a movement, etc. So in term of originality, it's not the best. Also, I think you forgot the losange on her sword but I might be wrong, maybe it's just that it doesn't have losange on the back of her weapon. So to resume, nice coloring, nice shading, nice background but it's not really original in term of pose or in the character.
